 Last night was the first time I arrived at one night's accommodation not having already booked the next night's. Then because the power went off, I didn't manage to book this motel until this morning. When I did, the website asked what time I would be here and I chose 3 pm. I suppose I am a bit early but it's worrying that there's nobody here at all. A sign says that if there's nobody around, I should dial 9 from the telephone outside the office. When I do that, it just rings inside the office and eventually goes to an answering machine. If I dial the motel's phone number from my mobile, the same thing happens.
