 Now that I'm here, it's obvious that the botanic gardens is a stupid place to try try to watch anything because it's full of trees. The place was probably designed to be a place where people wouldn't be able to see the rest of the city. I wonder why it's such a popular viewing location. Having spent four hours queueing to get in, I'm not going to leave now to look for somewhere better. Many of the good sites will be full by now.
