 Sydney, New Year's Eve. Absurdly, although it's only 8:20 in the morning, I'm already on my way to see the midnight fireworks. Everybody says you have to get there early. Apparently, last year the viewing area by the opera house was full to capacity and closed by 11 am. I'm going to a different viewing area but it might still fill up quickly.
