 It's quite common to have facilities for betting in pubs in Australia. I think the machine over on the right is where you can actually place your bets. The screens are showing coverage of horse races, dog races and even chariot races. At times, the races aren't even real; they're computer generated. For some reason, the biggest of the screens is showing the shopping channel. The little hatch in the middle is where I will have to collect my food from when the pager that they've given me goes off.
