 Four of these magpies have just been having a fight. Now these two are standing there making noises at the other two, which are on the overhead wires. Seeing this has shown me that we weird noise I've often heard which sounds like digital audio going wrong is made by magpies. Previously, the only cry which I knew to be from them was the one which they make when they swoop at you.
