 This is what I will be riding this year: a Jamis Aurora Elite. I had never heard of such a thing but it was recommended to me by the remarkably helpful people in a bike shop which you should get to see in a few days' time. It seems like a good machine: disk brakes, 30 geras, only 26 km on the clock. My only slight worry is that on the one previous occasion when I embarked on a trip with a nearly brand new bike, it went on to have all sorts of problems. Let's hope this one is better.
