 Not the kind of birds I would normally see perching on wires, and they're not maning the kind of noise I would normally expect from birds. It's a shame I don't have better sound recording equipment this year because some of the animal noises I've heard have been incredible. In New Zealand, it was all birds. Here, it's birds and insects. Sometimes a whole tree can be buzzing or making a noise like an alarm going off. Occasionally, it can be a whole hillside, sometimes with exotic bird sounds mixed in. It can sound like a jungle sound effect being played too loud.
