 One of the signs said that dinner and breakfast are available as room service so I've had fish and chips. I can't tell what kind of fish it is; probably something I've never heard of. A worrying development today is that all my technology seems to be giving up. One of my USB cables has stopped working. The camera went through a little phase this afternoon of not being able to open its lens cover properly. Most worryingly, that laptop battery seems to have gone wrong. I keep the laptop in its sleep mode in my panier so that it can power the phone. When I tried to revive it this evening, I found that at some point it had unexpectedly turned itself completely off. Then it did the same thing again with no warning when I was using it on its battery, even though the battery was still 60% charged at the time. If it stops working completely, I'll probably have to manage without it for a couple of weeks until I find somewhere where I can get a replacement. I do now have pretty good Internet access on my phone but it's the old phone with a slow processor and a small screen, large blobs of which are permanently black or blue. I haven't tried turning the new phone on for a few weeks but I'm pretty sure it's completely broken.
