 While I was eating a bag of sweets here, a man drove up, did the quickest bit of fishing I've ever seen and then left. He didn't catch anything. He is going to Christchurch today to do some fishing there so he's still got at least 300 km to go. It seems as though he's just stopping by any bit of water he sees and sticking a rod into it for a few minutes. He told me that he nearly caught a trout two days ago but it got away because he wound it in too quickly. I think he's doing everything too quickly.
