 Several of the reveiws of this hotel mentionned that there were no television sets in the rooms but that that didn't matter because the sheep outside the windows provided enough entertainment. I was disappointed when I went to bed that I hadn't seen any but there are a couple out there now. Interestingly, of the five hotels which I have now used in Iceland, three haven't had televisions in the rooms, whereas I had only ever previously encountered two such hotels in all my years of travelling. This rain is what the forecast predicted but there seems to be no wind at all. I had been hoping the wind would help me along today but I can't be too disappointed by still air. It could be a lot worse. It seems that the runners, mostly Italians, have just started playing disco music in the car park.
