 I have planned a ride of just 40 km today becaue the forecast was for rain and a headwind. In fact, it's not raining and, as these flags at the petrol station show, there's hardly any wind. I'll have to ride deliberately slowly today if I want to avoid arriving at my next hotel before the eariest check-in time.
