It's eleven degrees, which feels warm after the last two days. At times, I would even consider taking one of my pairs of trousers off.

The distances on the signs in Iceland seem very reliable, much more so than in Denmark. One of the signs here says that Höfn, my destination for today, is 102 km away. This area is so underpopulated that the next sign for Höfn would be the one saying it was 4 km away.

Today's ride is 104 km, or 65 miles. I would normally expect that to take 6.5 hours but in today's headwind, it would take nearly 9.
