 Slightly odd decor in my hotel's restaurant. Given how many tourists I have seen around here, and that my guidebook says this is the only restaurant in the town, I was surprised that there was nobody else eating here but about eight Germans turned up while I was halfway through my seafood pizza, which is a house speciality. It was expensive of course, like everything in Iceland, but after a short day's ride I had plenty of time in the evening and it was pleasing to be able to eat it by the window admiring the rugged mountains and watching the fishing boat which I saw arrive about an hour earlier make its way back out to sea.
