Reykjavik. I would guess that the two posts attached to the horse in that statue are the ones involved in the founding of the city but I've never heard horses mentionned in that story. Apparently, Ingólfr Arnarson, fleeing from Norway, threw them overboard when he sighted land and said that he would make his home wherever they washed up. Two of his slaves then spent three years looking for them and eventually found them here.
