While fiddling with my GPS logger, I heard a noise which sounded like a little yapping dog. When I looked, it was all these divers walking in drysuits. Thingvallavatn, and the Silfra rift in particular, are meant to be excellent for diving, although not warm like Laugarvatn. The water is so pure that you can see for hundreds of metres and you can even drink it while you're down there.
