 There are a few things to see here. One is my bike. Another is the emergency phone, solar panel and antenna on the left. Another is the pair of vertical red posts. Posts like these mark every 10 km along the road, or maybe it's only every 20 km. Finally, in the distance is a sign giving the distance to my destination. Very few signs in Portugal gave distances to anywhere whereas here in Spain, they almost all do.
