This cycle lane seemed like a good place to eat my apple pies. I had to eat them both because they had stuck together.

These signs are a bit misleading. It was the same in Lithuania. When it says Minsk is 44 km away, it just means that that's the distance to the sign welcoming you to Minsk. The centre is about 10 km further than that.
