 Swinoujscie is apparently a very popular tourist destination, mainly with Scandinavians. This beach is one of its main attractions. I was told all this by a verry chatty Danish lad, whose name I don't know, who was returning home after two weeks here. Somehow, during the conversation, I just got a feeling that it would be him who would be sharing my cabin. I turned out to be half right. The cabins each have four foldable bunks but are set up for just two people and are advertised as two-berth cabins. Unlike on some ships, it's not compulsory for passengers to have cabins. My guess is that this chap and his friend paid for just one berth, hoping that they would get a whole cabin which they could share. That plan didn't work though so we ended up with three of us in there. It seems that they weren't as cautious as I was about keeping their valuables with them though as they went off to the jaccuzi, then to the disco, leving behind phones, cameras, wallets and a massive Toblerone.
