Wow! I've just crested a slight hill and this has appeared. It turns out that the Basilica of Our Lady of Lichen, completed in 2004, is the largest church in Poland. It's the 5th largest in the world by area, 8th largest by volume, 12th by height and 22nd by length. All that gold on the roof is very impressive, even from this distance.
