 Tonight, instead of a free meal, I get a free drink. This is the hotel's bar, which has a bit of a military theme. The clock above the toilet door on the left is interesting. It's the mirror image of a normal clock and is also 13 minutes slow, as the signs to either side of it say. I now have a feeling that I'm the only person staying in this hotel, which might explain why I got one of the best rooms. Unfortunately, it means that the staff might have an idea who it was who came in here with chewing gum stuck to their shoe and walked it into the carpet at reception. The barman has just asked what time I can make it to breakfast. I think he may have been hoping for a lie in. Unfortunately, I asked for it at eight o'clock which is when the restaurant here says it opens. Tomorrow is going to be a long day so really I would have preferred breakfast at seven.
