 The view from my room in Ústí nad Labem. Like last night, I had been looking forward to dinner here. The hotel has a restaurant which says it is open until eleven o'clock. When I checked in, the receptionist confirmed that it was open and gave me a voucher for 15% off the prices, which I could already see were very reasonable. When I went down to eat though, the bar was open and had a member of staff on duty but no customers and although the restaurant door was open, the lights were off and there was nobody there at all. For a moment, I did consider asking for room service, which is the same price, but my Czech is currently so limited that I didn't really like to ask any questions at all so I just came back up here and finished my sweets. I have to hope that the dinners in Prague are as good and as cheap as they are meant to be here.
