 A lot of towns have signs a bit like this showing where the car parks are. This one doesn't look terribly helpful because it doesn't name the streets or say how big the car parks are and I imagine it would be very difficult to take in much of the information if you went past the sign at driving speed. In some towns, the signs are much clearer and there may be one or more marked routes which take you past all of the car parks.
