 After about an hour searching the Web last night, I finally convinced myself that the Hotel Stara, which had been booked for me, was the same place as the Planinarski Dom Hotel, about which there was enough information to work out where it was. The clinching piece of evidence was that both hotels had the same telephone number. Unfortunately, of all the hotels which I had seen mentioned in the Pirot area, the Planinarski Dom was the one which I had least wanted to have to go to because it's 700 metres higher than the town up a road which I will have to come back down tomorrow morning. I eventually found it on Google Earth and used the aerial imagery there to work out how to reach it. I'm glad I did because the instructions I had been given seem to be nonsense. The only turn I have to make is left, not right, immediately after crossing this stream. I'm having a couple of ice lollies in the sun here, even though I can see some rain heading this way.
