 This little section of the road climbing through the valley with the motorway alongside reminded me of part of the old Glasgow-Carlisle road. The staff at last night's hotel tried to persuade me to stay a couple of extra hours this morning because it was raining. The forecasts which I had seen showed that it would be raining all day so I set off anyway. I think the staff must have known something that I didn't because the rain stoppen about an hour after I set off from Paracin and started about an hour after I arrived in Nis. In between, it was quite warm and sunny for a while.
