 These new trousers seem pretty good. They fit better than the old ones, which had become a little loose. According to these scales, which happened to be in the bathroom, I've lost a good 10 kg already on this trip. I had been hoping to keep hold of my fat reserve until at least this stage in the trip in case food became harder to find later. However, for the sake of the bike, I think it's probably best to have lost some of it. The wheel has been fine for five days now, even after hitting a few reasonably large potholes on the way into Belgrade.
