There are a few shops around the main lobby but they don't look like they sell the kind of thing anybody would want to buy. A few bags of sweets, for instance. I've finished all mine and won't have any for when I get back on the road now. A new wireless network card would be good too. Mine was always a bit dodgy at home but I got used to having to sit in certain places to make it work. On this ship, several large public rooms are identified as wi-fi hotspots but there's no indication of where the access points are hidden so I haven't managed to keep a connection up for more than about a minute. Since you have to re-enter your details every time to re-connect, so that you can be charged for usage, that means it's virtually impossible to get anything done. The computers in the computer room and library are fine for web access but don't accept memory sticks so I can't upload my photographs from them. I tried borrowing the network cable out of one of them earlier but it wasn't having any of that. I might give up trying now and get a new network card when I reach land. I just hope I'm not still being charged for all the network connections I didn't terminate properly.
