This picture of the main dining room doesn't really do it justice but it would seem a but rude to wander further in while it isn't open or to take pictures in there while it is. Banks of seating reach up to the windows at either side of the ship and if you looked down that hole in the middle you would see another floor of dining tables below here.

This is more opulence than I really need. Unfortunately, passenger places on cargo ships are fairly scarce and the schedules are liable to change at short notice, and this boat and the QE2 are the only proper ocean liners in the world now. Cruise ships wouldn't risk venturing out into the North Atlantic.
