 My phone still doesn't work. I didn't have any luck with this payphone either. When I dialled the number of the motel in Tribune where I wanted to stay tonight, I just got a funny booping noise. I don't know whether the problem is with the motel's phone or whether I'm doing something wrong. Last night's motel had a freephone number so operating the phone was pretty simple. I tried calling the operator to ask if he could help and he said I would have to deposit $2.75. In any normal country, that wouldn't be a problem but here there really don't seem to be any coins bigger than a quarter. Nobody's going to have 11 of those.
