 In the absence of the Adventure Cycling Association's map, I've had to resort to Google Earth again, along with a paper map of Kansas at a scale of about 1:700000 which I just picked up at a petrol station. My destination for tonight is Hutchinson, which is slightly off the ACA route but does have a bike shop. These new maps suggest a shorter route from here in Newton to Hutchinson than the ACA map did, straight along highway 50. Unfortunately, the address and phone number of the bike shop were on the lost map so I probably won't be able to do anything useful when I get there.
