 The descent down that hill in the background was another fun one. This is Breezewood. It's not a large town; you can see pretty much all of it in this picture. It has no shortage of restaurants and motels though. It's really just a large motorway service area where Interstate 70 meets Interstate 76. As a contrast to the peaceful surrounding countryside, I think it looks most alarming from this end, which is how the Vogels first saw it. When I re-read their journal later this evening in my hotel, it was immediately obvious which town they were describing.
