 Eventually, somebody found out that it would take hours for the fault with the engine to be repaired and decided that he would catch a bus instead. As this news was translated into more and more languages, the crowd of people following him grew until it was probably larger than the number of seats which the bus would have. Just before the bus arrived, more news came from somewhere that the engine was fixed so we all traiped back to the station, again one nationality at a time. There does seem to be some work going on up at the front but no real sign of movement yet.
